Residence permit

The Residence Permit can be collected once you have completed your enrolment and obtained active student status in Neptun system.

 

The permit can be collected at the Students’ Services Office (HSZI), located in the József Attila Study and Information Centre (TIK) in Szeged.

 

Address: 6722 Szeged, Ady tér 10.

 

Opening hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00–15:00

Please visit the Students’ Service Office (HSZI) only after you have received a notification email from them confirming that your Residence permit has been sent by the Immigration Office and is ready for collection!

 

You can visit HSZI with a prior appointment booked via Modulo, as follows:

In case HSZI has not yet received your Residence permit because there is some delay, it is recommended to visit the Immigration Office/ Országos Idegenrendészeti Főigazgatóság Dél-Alföldi Regionális Igazgatósága in Szeged in person.

Please note that an advance appointment booking is recommended for faster administration.

Opening hours: Monday–Wednesday: 7:30–16:00

Thursday: 7:30–17:00

Friday: no customer service

 

Please provide them the following documents:

  • Passport
  • Certificate of your student status (issued by the Student Registration office)
  • Certificate of enrollment (issued by the Student Registration office)
  • Certificate of accommodation in the Student Hostel (signed by the director)
  • ’Accommodation reporting form’ for third country nationals (with the signature of the owner(s) or the dormitory providing your accommodation)
