Freshmen’s Checklist ✔

To successfully start your university studies, it is essential that you complete all the necessary administrations, such as:

✔ Step 1: Enrolment in person at the Faculty’s Student Registration Office in Hódmezővásárhely (Andrássy út 15.) from August 28th

Required documents:

- Passport and Visa

- Original High School Certificate and, if necessary, a certified English translation

✔ Step 2: Course registration online in Neptun system from August 25th to September 21st

✔ Step 3: Activate student status by registering for courses in Neptun system

✔ Step 4: Registration with Immigration Office for Residence permit (6724 Szeged Bakay Nándor u. 3/a.)

✔ Step 5: Attend classes from September 8th by following the Timetable for exact times and classrooms.

The Academic Year Opening Ceremony for freshmen is held on September 8th.

✔ Step 6: Student ID Card application at the Students’ Service Office (6722 Szeged, Ady tér 10.) after obtaining a NEK form at the Government’s Office/Kormányablak (6722 Szeged, Rákóczi tér 1.)

✔ Step 7: Health insurance (e.g. Generali Studium- Students’ Service Office, 6722 Szeged, Ady tér 10.)

✔ Step 8: Signing the SH agreement in case of scholarship holders, at the SH Office in the Rector's Office, 6720 Szeged Dugonics tér 13.

✔ Step 9: Klebersberg Library enrolment (6722 Szeged, Ady tér 10.)

✔ Step 10: Check emails on a daily basis for the latest information

✔ Step 11: Follow the Academic Calendar and the Timetable
