The University of Szeged, Faculty of Agriculture, cordially invites you to the
69th Graduation Ceremony.
Venue: Bessenyei Ferenc Cultural Center, 6800 Hódmezővásárhely, Dr. Rapcsák András út 7.
Date: Friday, February 6, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM.
Keynote speakers: Dr. habil. Edit MIKÓ, Dean of the SZTE Faculty of Agriculture; Prof. Dr. Márta SZÉLL, Strategic Vice-Rector of the University of Szeged; and Dr. Péter MÁRKI-ZAY, Mayor of Hódmezővásárhely.
Representing the Hungarian graduates, speeches will be delivered by Réka DOBÓ, Agricultural Engineer (BSc.), and Anita Erzsébet DORÁNÉ GYÖMREI, Plant Protection Engineer (MSc.), who has earned her third degree at our Faculty. Representing the international graduates, Tracy WANJIKU MOGENI, Agricultural Engineer (BSc.), will deliver a ceremonial address.
Faculty awards and honorary titles will also be presented during the ceremony.
At the 69th Graduation Ceremony, a total of 117 students will receive their diplomas, 53 of whom are graduating with honors. Our oldest graduate is 54 years old. Among the graduates are five international students who will return home to Jordan, Kenya, China, Laos, and Nigeria with the specialized knowledge acquired here.
The event will feature a musical performance by Barbara KONCZ, a former student of the SZTE Faculty of Agriculture, accompanied by József BUGYI on guitar.
