About the SZTE’s Study Systems

1. What is Neptun and how to use it?

The NEPTUN is an online educational administration system for students enrolled to the University of Szeged. This electronic database contains the personal data and full academic study records (registration, courses, exams, grades and credits) of all registered students of the university. Within the system you can manage your student status, your course and exam registration, your financial transactions for items which students are expected to pay to the university or to the dormitory.

At the beginning of their studies, students receive a NEPTUN ID via email that they can use to sign into the system. To access the Neptun educational system, students can visit the website of the University of Szeged (or the Faculty of Agriculture) and click on the label / icon in the top menu. We recommend the neptun.szte.hu site initially. Recommended browsers for the system: Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome.

For the students of SZTE the system offers the following possibilities:

  • modify personal data;
  • access information about courses, study requirements, exam dates and locations;
  • sign up for courses;
