As part of the Erasmus+ Credit Mobility Project, a delegation of department heads from the National Agronomic Institute of Tunisia (INAT) visited our Faculty. Their reception began at the Dean’s Office, followed by introductions and discussions, and then a guided tour of the Faculty premises. During their one-week stay, the guests participated in diverse and enriching programs. The delegation visited the Szegvár site of Árpád-Agrár Zrt., where Mr. Ákos Magyar, operations manager, provided an insightful presentation on greenhouse tomato cultivation technology. The group also toured the CABI Research Center in Hódmezővásárhely, where Mr. Stefan Toepfer, biocontrol scientist and head of the laboratory and our Tunisian student, Ms. Manar Lahbib presented their ongoing research and key findings. At the Faculty’s pilot farm, the Tunisian colleagues had the opportunity to attend a drone demonstration and gain insight into agricultural UAV technologies. The final programs took place in Szeged, where the delegation enjoyed a sightseeing tour of the city and visited the Rector’s Office as well as the Botanical Garden of the University of Szeged.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all Faculty members who contributed to and supported the seamless and successful organization of the program.
