The Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Szeged cordially invites you to the

67th Graduation Ceremony.

Venue: Bessenyei Ferenc Community Center, 6800 Hódmezvásárhely, Dr. Rapcsák András Rd. 7.

Date: 7 February 2025 (Friday), at 11 AM

Speeches are given: Dr. habil. Edit Mikó, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Klára Gellén, Vice Rector of Education of the University of Szeged and Dr. Péter Márki-Zay, Mayor of Hódmezővásárhely. On behalf of the Hungarian graduates, Luca Buknicz, agricultural engineer, and on behalf of the international graduates, Afiqah Izzati Binti Sundusin, agricultural engineer, will give the farewell speeches.

The ceremony will also include the presentation of faculty awards and distinctions.

At the 67th Diploma Ceremony of the Faculty of Agriculture, a total of 90 graduates will receive their diplomas, 32 of them with excellent grades. The oldest recent graduate is 59 years old. Of the graduates, 14 are international, who will take their skills back home to Laos, Malaysia, Vietnam, India, China, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana and Colombia.

At the ceremony, students of the Bachelor of Agricultural Engineering (Hungarian and English), Wildlife Management Engineering, Agribusiness and Rural Development Management, students of the postgraduate specialist training program of Agricultural Appraisal, Precision Agricultural Management, Wildlife Management, Plant Protection Engineering and students of the Master of Rural Development Engineering will receive their diplomas.

Barbara Koncz, a former student of the Faculty of Agriculture, will presents a singing performance at the event, accompanied by József Bugyi on guitar.
